The RW250/500 internal protein skimmer is designed for use in the sump of aquariums up to 1500 litres.
It is provided with 2 air production pumps and 1 circulation pump (supplied), which can be regulated as required (skimming capability of any skimmer is in direct relation to the contact time between water and air inside the contact chamber).
The RW250/500 internal protein skimmer is also provided with a double chamber to avoid air bubbles escaping from the discharge tube.
The check valve placed on the external discharge tube can regulate the internal water level.
The external discharge tube is also provided with another check valve for emptying the skimmer and for periodically cleaning dirt particles from the bottom of the skimmer.
Special silicon adapters between the tubes and the skimmer body ensure a long life and exceptional strength compared with usual sealing systems. The RW250/500 internal skimmer can be completely disassembled for cleaning.
The foam collection cup is specially shaped to ensure perfect skimming capacity even at low protein concentrations.
