Phytoplancton reactors
 

RWFR Phytoplancton reactors have been realized to get Phytoplancton for Reef Aquariums.

The IP67 waterproof lamp-holder Safetronic is provided with an internal alu-reflector, which guarantees the best direct reflection of the light.

The reflector must be used when the lamp-holder is placed externally to the Reactor (for example during hot season to avoid overheating of the culture).

The reflector must be removed when the lamp-holder is placed internally to the Reactor.

RWRF reactors can work both with manual and automatic control.

 

AUTOMATIC CONTROL
The reactor’s cover is provided with 4 inlets. Two inlets, connected each other and adjustable by a small check valve, are used to air the culture. A 3rd inlet can be used for feeding with salt water the reactor by a dosing pump (in this case to any water addition coincides a similar owerflowing of the culture through the reactor’s discharge tube).
The 4th inlet can be eventually used for adding a fertilizer to the culture by another dosing pump.

MANUAL CONTROL
In this case only the 2 inlets for air are used.
The 2 internal tubes assembled to the dosing pumps’ inlets can be taken away.
The Phytoplancton is taken directly from the check valve placed near the bottom of the reactor.

It is recommended to wash the reactor at least every month.

RWFR reactors are available in following models, all provided with waterproof IP67 Safetronic lamp-holder and Realux electronic ballast.
